GOP Wins Key Statehouses, Crushing the Radical Left’s Attempt to Transform America Into A Communist Country

Whether or not Geriatric Joe Biden won the White House, down-ballot races across the country show good news for Republicans.

In the run-up to the 2020 election, the Fake News Media blared gloom and doom. They predicted a historic wipeout of the Republican Party and a bell-ringing nationwide rejection of President Trump and everyone in the GOP who backed him.

Well, the media was wrong…AGAIN.

(Is there any other profession in America where someone can be THIS wrong THIS many times and not be fired? CNN’s Jim Acosta couldn’t hold down a job manning a snow cone machine.)

The GOP absolutely trounced the Democrats across the country in 2020, dominating races below the contested presidential ticket. Not only did the GOP pick up seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, in addition to likely holding the U.S. Senate, but the GOP also won key victories in state legislatures across the country.

The statehouse victories for the Republican Party may prove to be the most critical legacy of the 2020 election. Why winning and/or maintaining control of state legislatures in 2020 is especially important is because every 10 years, after the census, congressional and state legislative districts are redrawn to account for population changes. This empowers whoever is drawing the new maps with the ability to maximize the number of districts that favor their party.

These redistricting tactics are popularly known as gerrymandering, which in extreme examples lead to beauties like Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District which was drawn to pack as many Democrat votes as possible in and around Baltimore and whose shape resembles a diseased praying mantis that cuts together disparate communities in a way that looks like it was drawn by a narcoleptic cartographer riding a wooden rollercoaster.

As of the results of the 2020 election, the Republicans are set to control the redistricting of 188 congressional seats – or 43 percent of the entire House of Representatives – while the Democrats will control the redistricting of, maximum, 73 seats, or 17 percent.

Many in the Far Left Media and their lapdog legislative wing in Congress (aka the Democrats) predicted with wide-eyes that the Democrats would win back control of state legislatures in Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Iowa, Minnesota, Florida, Michigan, and more.

“It’s clear that Trump isn’t an anchor for the Republican legislative candidates. He’s a buoy,” said Christina Polizzi, a spokesperson for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, in a recent mea culpa. “He overperformed media expectations, Democratic and Republican expectations, and lifted legislative candidates with him.”

Not only did the GOP hold those critical statehouse legislatures, but the Republicans have appeared to also have flipped both the state House and Senate in New Hampshire.

“The results that we saw last night and that will continue to come out throughout the day today and the rest of this week will put the Republican Party in a position where we’re able to secure a decade of power across the country,” said Austin Chambers, the president of the Republican State Leadership Committee. “And it’s something that the Democrats were desperate for, and they came up well short.”

How big of a victory was 2020 for Republicans? Nationally, the GOP is celebrating the legislative election results as an even bigger victory for the party than in 2010, when the Republican Party flipped 22 state chambers.

But, but, but…the trembling lips of liberal snowflakes across were convinced that they had the election in the bag and that their communist takeover of America was all but assured.

What happened to all that George Soros money spent undermining the rule of law and promoting socialist candidates? What happened to Mini Mike Bloomberg’s billions he splashed in Florida and Ohio?

Forward Majority, a DC-based far-left organization, spent over $32 million to try to flip state legislative chambers in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina.

Sorry, socialists — you lose, America wins.
